red ribbon week started from kidnapping, torture and brutal murder of Drug Enforcement Administration dea Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena in 1985. Agent Camarena had been working undercover in Guadalajara, Mexico for four years and he had been watching a multimillon dollar operation in chihuahua  and leaders from sevreal drug cartels sought revenge as resoult  thay murderd infomants and on feb.1985 thay kidnaped  agent camarena and his pilot.
